剛過去的週末來自高雄、澳洲昆士蘭、莫斯科、雅加達等世界各地的 Instagram 用戶，都為 Instameet 全球 10 週年這件盛事而聚首一堂，這個全球即時見面活動其實是慶祝 Instagram 社群相識 4 年的美好時光。超過 50,000 張相片標誌著 hashtag #WWIM10，將 6 大洲數以百計的 Instameet 即時見面活動連在一起。據我們所知最大型的 Instameet 全球 10 週年見面活動在雅加達舉行逾 900 人參加。

由於超過 65% 的 Instagram 用戶都來自美國以外的地方，Instameet 即時見面活動是件全球盛事。網友早在 Instagram 成立初期，便已經透過 Instameets 親身會面，在現實生活中成為好朋友和建立社群。Instagram 社區的成員在公司創立初期，便要求與創辦人 Kevin 跟 Mike 合照，從那時開始 Instagram 用戶就開始在世界各地組織並出席各種 Instameet 即時見面活動。Instameet 即時見面活動是公司歷史上為人津津樂道的情境，它們將住在同一社區但素未謀面的近鄰凝聚在一起。這些聚會往往是創新靈感和合作的來源。全球的城鎮都因這些聚會而打破數碼隔閡，拉近彼此關係。
